Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) is the process of melting materials such as plastic or metal and laying down layer upon layer to produce a 3D object. This is the process Zeutek 3D Printing uses to convert customers’ 3D models into physical objects.
This manufacturing process is perfect for one-off items, prototypes and low production quantities. Zeutek currently offers two types of material for 3D printing, ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and PLA (Polylactic acid).
ABS offers high mechanical strength, as well as higher temperature stability. PLA is made from plants such as corn and sugar cane, and is therefore biodegradable and also results in a more aesthetic surface finish. If you require a more niche material, feel free to submit an enquiry here.
